Carousel Capital ("Carousel"), a private investment firm focused on investing in middle-market businesses, today announced the promotion of three senior team members to Partner, Tyler Moses, Chris Wells and Adam Elmore, recognizing their significant contributions to the firm's sourcing efforts, investment activity, portfolio company value creation initiatives, and long-term growth.

Tyler Moses joined Carousel in 2017 as a Vice President and was promoted to Principal in 2022. Throughout his tenure, he has been actively involved in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments while working closely with management teams to drive growth and operational improvement across the portfolio.

Today, Tyler serves on the boards of Jay Industrial Repair, Reliance Partners, Legacy Data Access, and ProcessBarron. He also played key roles in the successful realizations of Armstrong Transport Group, Apex Analytix, and Huseby, helping create meaningful value for investors and portfolio company stakeholders.

Prior to joining Carousel, Tyler worked in mergers and acquisitions at Piper Jaffray in Charlotte and previously served as an engineer at AREVA NP. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.

Chris Wells joined Carousel in 2019 as a Vice President and was promoted to Principal in 2024. Since joining the firm, he has played an increasingly important role in investment sourcing, transaction execution, portfolio oversight, and firm-building initiatives.

Chris currently serves on the boards of CraneWorks, Quality Automotive Services, Ethos, and Expedited Travel and was instrumental in the successful exit of Landscape Workshop and the recapitalization and continuation investment in Ethos. He has worked closely with management teams to support strategic growth initiatives and operational execution across the portfolio.

Before joining Carousel, Chris worked in private equity at Saw Mill Capital and in investment banking with Edgeview Partners. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Adam Elmore joined Carousel in 2017 as a Principal of Business Development and leads the company’s investment origination efforts. He is responsible for originating, assessing, and developing investment leads and relationships with companies. He also develops and maintains relationships with entrepreneurs, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, financing providers, and other sources of opportunities.

Previously, Adam was a Director at BlackArch Partners, where he led the firm’s private company advisory practice. Mr. Elmore received a B.A. in History from Davidson College and MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
