Charlie Orr joined Carousel Capital in 2026. Previously, Mr. Orr was a Principal and Head of Business Development at Reynolda Equity Partners, a lower-middle-market private equity firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he built and led the firm's business development function, including its intermediary coverage and direct sourcing programs. Prior to Reynolda, he worked in business development at Summit Park and co-founded 2ULaundry.
Mr. Orr focuses on Carousel Capital's business development and investment origination efforts. In this role, he is responsible for originating, assessing, and developing investment leads and relationships with companies. He also develops and maintains relationships with entrepreneurs, investment bankers, attorneys, accountants, financing providers, and other sources of opportunities.
Mr. Orr attended North Carolina State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Wake Forest University School of Business.
